National and Kapodistrian University of Athens SEG Student Chapter was re-established in April 2016 after some years of inactivity. Our biggest goal is to connect the students of the Faculty of Geology and Geoenvironment of our University with the domain of Economic Geology. We plan to do this by showing that the supply of mineral resources and the evolution of human kind are inextricably intertwined. To accomplish our goal we plan to organize field trips, lectures with speakers from the Industry and Academia etc to give the chance to the students to explore the domain of Economic Geology apart from the University lectures.
